In today’s blog post, we’re featuring the talented figurative photographs of Madame Peripetie, Kilian Schoenberger’s striking landscapes, and Benoit Lapray’s fantastic superhero photographs.

Madame Peripetie

When we first came across Peripetie’s portfolio and images, we were absolutely blown away with the composition, atmosphere and colours which she packs into her photographs.

We especially love the imagery which Peripetie has produced for WIRED Magazine, which is a fantastic combination of ultra stylish photographs, with excellent composition, with a large dose of ‘cool’ mixed in.

The way that she’s used the black lines across the figure is rather wonderful, as it doesn’t hamper the design, but adds to it instead.

She’s a talented photographer, and we can see why!

Kilian Schoenberger

I don’t think we’ve seen such visually dramatic landscapes like Kilian’s before, which is an absolute treat to stumble across.

Focusing on landscapes and the natural environment, Kilian has developed a portfolio which is packed full of inspiration which we can enjoy!

Our absolute favourite is his ‘Woodland’ project which he showcases on his website. Kilian manages to capture the beauty of light and sunshine, without looking generic and artificial, which many artists and photographers have trouble achieving.

The way he beatifically captures the atmosphere is sometimes quite haunting, as we wonder whats behind certain trees, or something that lurks in the distance.

Love his landscapes? Make sure you check out Kilian Schoenberger portfolio.

Benoit Lapray

The last photographer we want to share with you is Benoit Lapray, who has created a rather unique project which looks at superheros, and what they do when their not fighting crime.

Taken form her Behance project: “What do our comic book heroes do when they are not face to face with the enemy or trying to save the life of a person in distress? With his series of portraits entitled “The Quest for the Absolute” French photographer, Benoit Lapray, attempts to answer.

He captures and freezes the moment during which the famous vigilantes are not in the action and presents them here as lonely beings who wander in nearly deserted landscapes.”

It’s a rather fantastic project and concept, which many of us oversee when we’re watching the films – what do these heros do when they’re alone?

We absolutely love the ‘Hulk’ and ‘Wolverine’ images, which offer a great composition and fantastic colours. The photographs really captures the mood of the pieces, which is taken beautifully.

If you absolutely love Benoit’s photography, check out his portfolio.
