We’ve been working hard at Graphic Tide over the last few weeks or so, and can very nearly show you the outcome of our hard work. At the moment you can witness our brand new Home Page, which looks and interacts a whole lot better than our first version, which were really pleased about, and we hope you are too.

Apart from this re-design of our home page, we are working across all of our pages, so you can interact with it better, feed more information about you and your art on our about pages, and have a better user experience, as we really appreciate the community which were growing here at Graphic Tide!

You can also see that we have made our Product Page better looking and more user friendly for our customers, and showcases your art in a more visually stimulating way. Within these product and voting pages, you’ll be able to ‘like’ particular tee’s which you love, and will also be able to comment on tee’s too, as we want to increase our community within Graphic Tide and we think this is the first step in doing this. We’re still working on individual product pages at the moment, but this will hopefully be in the place in a couple of days time, so look out for that.

But what other things are we introducing into our website, that you can also benefit from?

Dashboard

At the moment were currently re-designing and developing that of our dashboard pages, which can give other people more of an insight into who you are as an artist, what t-shirt designs you currently have on Graphic Tide, and what your contact details are.

Apart from this feature, were also going to introduce another application which will allow you to see your tee’s statics on our website. For example, you can get valuable information like how many people looked at your tee, to how many people liked your t-shirt design.

If you have a tee within the voting stage, we can see the statistics of your t-shirts easily too, as were going to showcase your percentages within the dashboard, without you having to go onto the voting page and manually looking up your tee for yourself! If your lucky enough to get into our store, you can see your earnings, your statistics on your tee’s within our store, and what your most successful t-shirt design is.

We really hope that this encourages you to maximise your dashboard by adding your all important contact information, filling out your about page, and increasing your promotion as an artist. We’ll be here every step of the way, so you can get the most out of these pages.

But this isn’t it, oh no!

Facebook Voting

Were really pleased that you’ve been voting in your numbers on Twitter, which is really great to see! However, were also working on combining both Twitter and Facebook voting, as we know a lot of you use both platforms.

We’re focusing on creating an tab application within our Facebook page, which will allow your friends to vote for your t-shirt designs, and get you to that all important 30 votes! After the re-design of our product and dashboard pages, were going to be focusing on this element, which we’re really looking forward to at Graphic Tide.

But I hear you say, that’s surely it? No!

Interviews

We want to increase our exposure that we give to our artists who are currently selling within our store, so we get more of an insight into each artist. So were going to be introducing blog post interviews, so you find out more about the person behind their design, what their influences are and what they’re currently up to. This is a valuable exposure to our artists as our blog was seen by over 4,000 people within the last 3 months, so we think this will be an exciting way to promote your work to the world to see.

You might be thinking that you want to be part of our interviewing blog posts, but you can! Each week, if you’ve uploaded a design to our voting platform, you’ll be within the chance of being interviewed within our blog. A blog post which is dedicated to you, your art and what you have to offer. This will be cast at random each week, which we will introduce to you guys as soon as possible!

We hope you’ve got more of an insight into what’s happening at Graphic Tide at the moment, with Ash doing the crucial website development, and me (Haydn) and my other brother (Cam), doing the design and making the website look great! It’s been a challenging few weeks as we really want to show it all to you guys, but it’s not quite finished, but we will let you know when we’ve completed the process.
