Jing has created a series of illustrations which are absolutely wonderful to look at, in terms of execution, skill and colours used.
Creating recipe cards for 5 classic dishes, from the American burger, French croissant, to the delicious Italian pizza, these series perfectly communicate how these classic dishes are created, and we certainly learnt a thing or two at Graphic Tide’s HQ – thanks Jing :D!
Combining subtle colours and a clever idea, this is a great project that is perfect for our illustration showcase, that we just couldn’t leave out!

Juan Esteban Rodriquez
We’ve shared Juan’s illustrations on our previous illustration inspiration blog post, as it’s eye catching, highly detailed, and looks perfect for any illustration inspiration, and today’s no exception.
Creating a Star Wars poster which has great composition and colours for ‘The Empire Strikes Back’, this digital poster is bursting with extraordinary details, that are just mesmerising to look at!
What better way to celebrate the new Star Wars film – we can’t think of a better reason!

If you like digital or vector art, which combines great colours and a very eye catching feel, then Rik Oostenbroek’s work is right up your alley!
Even though Rik states that these images we’re aimed for him to practise on his weakness within his project, and do most of the work in Adobe Illustrator, we can’t see any sort of weakness within his work, as these illustrations are stunning!
Eye catching vibrant colours are used within this project, which are set in front of a black background, which really makes the whole of the images jump out from the page!
If you like the look at Rik’s work, do look through his own portfolio!
