Here at Graphic Tide we want to keep you up to date with what’s happening in the art world. We do this by posting our weekly Inspiration Blog Posts on Art and Design like Illustration, Graphic Design and Photography, but we also want to inform you on what’s happening away from the internet, which may be in the form of exhibitions, events and shows which have caught our eye!
If your in London in the next few weeks I would highly recommend ‘The Manet Exhibition’ at The Royal Academy of Arts in London, which runs up until 14th April 2013. The work of Edouard Manet is astonishing and his portraits have made him one of the most famous painters the world as ever seen. He has been highly influenced by hundreds of artists and has stood the test of time. For the first time in the UK, the Royal Academy is showing the career of the great artist, by pulling in more than 50 pieces of works from Europe, Asia and America. Both ‘The Times’ and ‘The Telegraph’ have rated the exhibition as 5 stars, so it’s a definitely worth a visit, and if your not already familiar with Manet, below is a taste of his work.
