Graphic Tide is always on the look out for the best art and design the world has to offer, that we can showcase to you guys on a weekly basis. With this purely in mind, what better way to achieve this, with featuring the work of Noma Bar. Noma is an outstanding Graphic Artist, Illustrator and Fine Artist, and uses negative space within his work to reveal works which absolutely blow us away! We’ve selected a few works from Noma, which are our highlights, and if you’ve never encountered Noma’s work before, you’re in for a real treat!

Before we go into Noma’s work, we wanted to tell you guys about our newest feature to our website, and thats the ability to pay with card within our store! Anything from Visa, Mastercard, American Express, we accept them all! We’re really excited to have this feature equipped within Graphic Tide, and we think it will benefit our artists and community even better. As we’re on a great note, let’s get back to Noma’s work!

Noma was born in 1973 in Israel, and has appeared in many publications such as The Guardian, BBC, Time Out London, The Observer and The Economist. He moved to London in 2011 to pursue his passion and career within the world of Illustration and Graphic Design, and it looks like its really paid off! With his many years of experience and working with such a high calibre of clients, Noma Bar is a current, contemporary and popular artist, who produces art which is completely fresh and unique.

Noma plays within the world of negative space to reveal illustrations which have double meanings, which is mostly shown within his portraits. Highlights of this include Saddam Hussein and the Iran President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who dealt with nuclear power within their reigns. It’s with Noma’s clever, captivating and carefully constructed shapes, that he has become a extremely sought after artist, whose work gets better and better.
