As we introduce ourselves into 2014, and make 2014 the best year ever, we thought we would take this opportunity to showcase some illustration inspiration to you and help inspire you to produce one of your best projects ever! We’ve looked across the internet to find the best illustrations which are out there today, for you to feast your eyes on! All the images are sourced, as I encourage you to look further into each illustrator which were showcasing today.
In today’s illustration inspiration post, we’re showcasing work of Charlie Davis, whose product illustrations labels for ‘Joffreys Coffee and Tea Company’ are just mind blowing, whose work I really admire and because he was in the same class as me at University! This project looks so slick and works excellently as a coffee product, I really want one! His use of colours and characters really makes his work unique and captivating, a definite talent to look out for in the future!
Another fantastic and rather mind blowing artist and illustrator is the well known Etam Cru, whose wall illustrations and murals are just crazy! He packs in so much detail on a vast amount of space, and really makes the buildings stand out from the crowd! A favourite of ours is the old woman holding a hen, as the scarf and detail in the hands are just out of this world! We hope you get inspired by this just as much as we do!
The last illustrator I want to talk about is Tom Haugomat, a master at composition and colour. I particularly enjoy that of his landscapes, which I think he’s fantastic at, as his reflects quietness and calm, mixed with great little scenes which features some intriguing characters. His work is so captivating and draws in the eye, especially his New York illustrations within a editorial context.
I hope you enjoy today’s post and get inspired to produce your own project!
