You gain attention of your work, and you gain commission on every t-shirt that we sell, sweet!

So let’s get cracking with today’s blog post, and start with the image quality and presentation.

Image Quality & Presentation

Presentation of your t-shirt design’s is key, as this can lead to more votes of your design’s. How can you make your work more appealing and eye catching, so others click onto your design within the voting platform, and vote for your design’s? Well firstly, the image needs to be crisp and high quality, as there’s nothing worse than a blurry, un-focused design. I would encourage everyone to scan in their artwork, or if your photographing your piece, to use a high quality camera, which is extremely important. Scan your artwork at 300 dpi, which results in a high quality image.

The image composition needs to be thought about too, as this can attract more votes to your design. Play around with the composition of your design’s, and see if you can make it more appealing, than just placing the design in the middle of the image. It might not be as effective, but experimenting with your image composition can really transform how your image gets perceived.

Description

Your description of your piece is also key to receiving more votes. Explain what your design’s all about, use correct grammar and spelling, and double check your text before submitting to us. Like your design, your description should capture your audience’s attention, and give them some insight into your design. A description which is un-professional doesn’t communicate the right things to the audience, and puts your design on the back foot.

Thumbnail & Profile

Let your audience get a good insight into you as a artist and designer, and use your profile to the max. Adding a thumbnail to your profile sets you apart from the crowd, and adds some personality to your design’s, as your profile image is now seen on all of your designs. People then get accustomed to seeing your avatar, and can relate to you in the future.

Don’t Give Up

If your design hasn’t seen any votes for a while, the most important thing to do is to not give up! Keep plugging your design on Twitter and Facebook, and make it your mission to reach the 30 votes mark. Don’t be afraid to tell your family and friends about your pursuit to reach 30 votes, as every vote counts. They can then spread the word about your design’s, which leads to more votes and increases your chance of reaching the magical 30 votes mark.

I hope you’ve enjoyed these tips and tricks to help you reach the 30 votes mark. Make sure you have fun with creating your design’s, as we want our community to enjoy what they’re doing, creating some amazing art and design that appears on t-shirts!
