Type, design, and the overall composition is so important if your looking to produce a new piece of work, regardless of what area of design your mainly based. In today’s graphic design inspiration, I’m featuring some fantastic designers, for you to dig your teeth into, and hopefully inspire you with your current projects. All of the images have been sourced, so I encourage you to click on some of these images and find out more out these designers, as their all great!
In today’s post I’m featuring designers such as Simone Giorgio, whose typographic sketchbook is just fantastic to look at. His sketchbooks are such an inspiration as his typography are all slick, unique and most importantly well communicated. His sketchbook seems to be bursting with new ideas which he can take forward into commissioned work.
Other designs whose work I particularly enjoy is that of Jane Says, a design studio based in Cape Town, South Africa. Featuring work for The Armoury Boxing Gym, it shows fantastic type, mixed in with some great illustrations, capturing a old retro feel. I really like the personality which they capture through all of the branding, which is clean, funny and overall a great piece of design, well done them!
The last design studio which I want to talk about are Big Fish, whose extremely well designed packaging I really enjoy. Producing the branding and packaging for Kallo, the overall design, type and mix with illustration is all effortless (in a great way). I love the simplicity of all of them, as they say exactly what they are on the tin, and communicates excellently.
